Cyber Security

Zero Trust security that stops threats before they become incidents.

Security is designed into everything we build. We verify every user, device and request with Zero Trust architecture based on NIST SP 800-207, watch your environment around the clock with Microsoft Defender and our managed SIEM, and map your controls to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 so you can show your board, auditors and insurers exactly where you stand.

What's included

Cyber Security

  • Managed detection & response

Security events from endpoints, firewalls, identity and Microsoft 365 are correlated in our SIEM and investigated 24/7/365.

  • Zero Trust architecture

No implicit trust based on network location. Access is decided per request by identity, device health, location and risk, enforced through Entra ID Conditional Access.

  • NIST CSF 2.0 assessment & roadmap

Current and target profiles across Govern, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover, with a prioritized, costed plan to close the gaps.

  • Identity & access management

MFA for every user, phishing-resistant passkeys and FIDO2 keys for administrators, just-in-time privileged access and least-privilege roles.

  • Email & phishing protection

Safe Links, Safe Attachments, impersonation protection and DMARC enforcement. See Email Security & DMARC.

  • Vulnerability & penetration testing

Regular scanning and annual penetration tests to find weaknesses before attackers do, with tracked remediation.

  • Incident response & forensics

A documented, tested response plan aligned to NIST SP 800-61: contain, investigate, recover and report, including notifications under state breach laws, the NY SHIELD Act and NYDFS Part 500 where they apply.

  • Security awareness training

Quarterly training and realistic phishing simulations that turn your staff into a strong line of defense.

  • Compliance & governance

Policies, risk registers and evidence mapped to NIST CSF 2.0, NIST SP 800-53 and 800-171, CIS Controls, HIPAA, SOC 2 and NYDFS Part 500.

CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model

Zero Trust, pillar by pillar.

Every request is evaluated on identity, device health and context before access is granted. We build and mature each pillar in turn, so progress is measurable.

Identity

Phishing-resistant MFA, risk-based Conditional Access and just-in-time admin through Entra ID.

Devices

Only managed, compliant, encrypted devices reach company data, verified by Intune and Defender for Endpoint.

Networks

Microsegmented networks and identity-aware remote access in place of flat networks and always-on VPNs.

Applications & workloads

Single sign-on, per-app access and hardened Azure workloads, with shadow SaaS discovered and governed.

Data

Classification, sensitivity labels, DLP and encryption with Microsoft Purview that travel with the file.

Visibility, automation & governance

Centralized logging, automated response and policy governance across every pillar.

FAQ

Common questions.

Something else on your mind? Email us and talk to an engineer, not a salesperson.

What is Zero Trust, in plain English?

Zero Trust replaces "inside the network means trusted" with a check on every request. Before anyone reaches email, files or apps, we confirm who they are with strong MFA, check that their device is managed and healthy, and grant only the access their role needs. If an account or laptop is compromised, the damage stays contained.

Is the NIST Cybersecurity Framework mandatory?

For most private organizations it is voluntary, but it has become the common reference for boards, cyber insurers and larger customers. Some obligations build on NIST directly: defense contractors handling Controlled Unclassified Information must meet NIST SP 800-171, which CMMC builds on.

Do we need to buy new security tools?

Usually not many. Most of the Zero Trust controls small and mid-sized organizations need are already in Microsoft 365 Business Premium. We configure what you own first and recommend add-ons only where they reduce real risk.

Security review

Let's talk about your IT and security.

Our security review assesses your environment against NIST CSF 2.0 and Zero Trust best practice, ranks the biggest risks and gives you a practical, costed plan to fix them, in plain English.
